Seram Birding tour-Program

Day 1

MAKASSAR – AMBON Fly to Makassar, and connected to Ambon. Arrive in Ambon, if time permit birding on farm lands to find Ambon White-eye. Night : Hotel.

Day 2

AMBON – SERAM ISLAND Transfer to Tulehu harbor for a fast boat schedule departs at 10:00AM across Seram Island. Arrive in Masohi, and then arrange park permit and driving to Sawai. Birding along the way down to Manusela National Park to see Seram Friarbird, Seram Cockatoo, etc. Night: floating homestay in Sawai village.

Day 3-Day 4

BIRDING ON SERAM ISLAND Two days birding on Manusela National Park too look for endemic species of the park likes Purple-Naped lorry, Long-tailed Mountain Pigeon, Lazuli Kingfisher, Long Crested Myna and others. Night: floating homestay in Sawai village.

 Day 5

SERAM ISLAND – AMBON After breakfast driving return to Masohi. Birding along the way. Arrive in Sawai then traveling by a fast boat takes two hours return to Ambon. Transfer to hotel. Afternoon birding on farm lands to look for Ambon White-eye. Night: hotel

Day 6

AMBON – BURU ISLAND birding in the morning near Ambon, traveling by a Ferry across to Buru Island. Night In Ferry.

Day 7

Arrive in Buru Island, then go directly to hotel WRB for about 2 hours from the Harbour. In the afternoon, birding close to the hotel. Lunch and dinner in hotel. Night: hotel.

Day 8

BIRDING ON BURU ISLAND Birding in logging road up to the high point. Lunch may be taken in the high point, or back to the hotel. Dinner at the hotel. Night: hotel .

Day 9

BIRDING ON BURU ISLAND birding in low-land in Bara. This can be done full-day, or go back to to the hotel for lunch, and return to Bara afterwards. Dinner at the hotel. Night: hotel.

Day 10

BURU ISLAND – AMBON Go birding to highland-point in the morning, and having lunch. Return to the hotel around 2 PM; prepare to go to the harbor for the departure to Ambon.

Day 11

ARRIVAL IN AMBON Arrive in Ambon. Stay one night in Ambon Night: hotel And Leave Ambon.
