Being the highest peak between the Andes and the Himalaya, the Mandala summit (5,023ft/4,6767m) is considered by many to be the most exotic and technically challenging of the Second highest Summits, Mandala summit towers above an equatorial rain forest jungle populated by people that have had little contact with the western world. In addition to cultural tourism, the trekking and climbing to the Mandala summit would give a particular advantage. We will offer a whole new experience with the closest way to the second peak in Papua.

Route: Depart from Jayapura by AMA, Tariku, SUSI Air or Twin Otter to Bime district start trekking to Cho Chang village Trekking – Ukujin Kawala – Kour Deyo – Jaban – Mandala Cave (Base Camp) – Peak Madala Summit (round trip).

Start/End: Jayapura airport
Itinerary
Day 1 : Arrival in Jayapura-Connect to Horex hotel
Day 2 : Departure to Bime district 1 hour flight by AMA or similar (village)
Day 3 : Trek to Bime hills to Cho Chang Na through Bime River (forest)
Day 4 : Trek to Ukujin Kawala (forest)
Day 5 : Trek to Kour Deyo-Wild large valley (forest)
Day 6 : Trek to Jaban valley or Walk up to Mac Wasage Cave [Mandala foot peak]
Day 7 : Summit day (Ascending to Mandala Peak Second Victory Peak – Yuliana Peak)
Day 9-10 same way Back to Bime district
Day 11 or 12 : Return Fly to Jayapura
Cost Includes:
1). Climb Permit and Surat Jalan from Police office
2). Mountain Guide and porters
3). All transfer service in Jayapura from Airport to Hotel as return
4). Local Transport for picked up from Hotel to Airport as return
5). Extra Dom Tent for stay camp during expedition (based Twin Share)
6). Acclimatization at Mac Cave-Base camp
7). Any hotel in Jayapura/Sentani region
Expedition Cost Not Includes:
1). Ticket Fares: Jakarta – Jayapura for return flight USD 500,-/person
2). Personal insurance and Emergency Rescue by Helicopter
3). Personal Expenses such as mini bar Hotel, room Phone Hotel, Laundry, Extra Meals as unmentioned on expedition
4). Cancellation or delay flight from Airlines as force majeureTERM & CONDITIONS:
Please Read These Term & Conditions Carefully As, By Giving Us Final Confirmation Or Paying Deposit, You Acknowledge That You Have Read, Agreed And Accepted All The Terms & Conditions Stated Below.
FINAL CONFIRMATION:
Your final confirmation of your participation in this expedition must be received by us at least 4 (four) months before departure date. Please send your confirmation by email.
HOW AND WHERE TO PAY:
As soon as you confirmed your participation, please send the deposit of 35% payment to the beneficiary that we will inform by email.
Please NOTE:
We do not accept CHE QUES for the payment.
THE BALANCE:
The balance of the payment (65% from the expedition cost) must be received by us at least two (02) weeks before your arrival in Jayapura.
CANCELLATIONS:
There will be cancellation charge apply. The charge is determined by the date we receive written notification of Your cancellation, as follows:
* Cancellation made at least 3 (two) weeks before departure date: 35% from the Expedition Cost.
* Cancellation made at least 2 ( two ) week before departure date: 50% from the Expedition Cost.
* Cancellation made LESS than a week before departure date: 85 % from the Expedition Cost.
REFUNDS:
Refunds are not made for unused services.
However please note that we will refund the full payment to you, IF WE MUST CANCEL the expedition due to the political situation in Indonesia or Papua BEFORE your arrival in Jayapura .
BUT please note and acknowledge that the refund of the full payment is not given to you, if we must cancel the expedition when you are already on the field, since we have spent some cash by providing porters, permits, charter plane, etc for your expedition (things that need to be paid in advanced).
BIO-DATA:
In order to obtain the permit, please send the documents contain of Bio-data, Copy passport and 5 Red background Photographs.
