“The founder of Pace Creative of Yoboi Village, Mr. Billy Tokoro said that he would held the upcoming Sago worms mini Festival (#festivalulatsagu | @kampungwisatayoboi on 14-16 november 2026. The Sago festival events have been planned this year as part of the successful implementation of the 3rd community based tourism & as a local food estate.
How to get there
Second World famous fresh lake is Lake Sentani in Jayapura. Approximately about 20 minutes drives from Sentani city or 1hr drive from Jayapura. There are two ways to go to Yoboi village from city. One way via Ifar Besar, south east valley and the other route along the Peter Nut Plans & Sago palms plantations (Metroxylon Sp) called “Jl. Yahim” to Yahim Pantai.
Yoboi is small village in Lake Sentani Bank. There, where the village is located in third largest lake in Papua and South East Asia; and also one of the most spectacular village, surrounded by high Sago Palms, Savannas hills, villages & beautiful background of Cyclops Mountain. Moreover, the village is situated by its beautiful panorama for the left & right angle side of the village. When you descend down by the plane, left side you will see the lake beauty and the Yoboi village beauty.

Asei Island
Most visitors stay on the Jonson or Tuk-Tuk on lake Sentani. In general, people stay on Lake Sentani for several days to discover the islands, visit the traditional Asei, Ayapo, Ivar Besar villages, swim in the lake and go to the Savannas hills to viewpoints lovers.
Love Lake
The Love lake or Emfote Lake lies at the point of Lake Sentani where the lake is connected to the mainland. North West of the lake is Doyo Lama.
