DAY 01: From Jakarta or Bali arrival Jayapura – Wamena-same day (L,D).
Arrival Jayapura, meet me! Arrange for Surat Jalan, and continue your flights depart to Wamena at 10.ooA M or 12.oo AM. Upon arrival at Wamena airport transfer to Hotel for a short briefing about the trekking. After lunch, Visit Jibama local market then by car drive in 25 minutes to Suroba village and hike through hanging bridge. Afternoon return to the hotel for dinner and stay at Baliem Pilamo Hotel or similar.
DAY 02 : Wamena – Hitugi (B,L,D)
After breakfast at your accommodation, by car to Siep Kosay in the south East of Baliem valley, here you will visit the traditional Dani villages and walk entering their sweet potatoes garden. We will hike for approximately 3-4 hours through the beautiful countryside and hearth break panoramic. Passing wild forest and scenery is spectacular prepared lunch in boxes will be served en route to the village. Dinner and overnight at in the forest-camp.
DAY 03: Hitugi– Syokosimo village (B,L,D)
After breakfast, you are proceed to descend the steep hill down to traditional hanging bridge across Habie river. Today’s walk is a little harder with narrow and slippery paths. But you may also enjoy the nature’s beauty. Trek will be around 4-5 hours. Lunch en route, dinner and overnight at teacher’s house or primary school.
DAY 04 : Syokosimo to Wuserem village –(B,L,D)
After breakfast, walk for about 4-5 hours down to Yeruk village then cross another hanging bridge over Kulet River. Then from Kulet River 2 hours trekking up Hilakuak Hulls. Nice view and amazingly spectacular rainforest till the Masahangguli or Apahapsili. Lunch served en route. Overnight at Masahangguli or Apahapsili village in the afternoon
DAY 05: Wuserem village – Kilise (B,L,D)
After breakfast, we go down deeper to Peyerik River, cross traditional bridge and treek up hills and take a rest in Fari village. Sugar cane palms and local huts on the way. We are passing Penyam village and cross lek traditional bridge to Yarema.
DAY 06 : Kilise Full Day Tour to Kurulu
(B.L.D)-Ends!! Wamena-Jayapura (DEPARTURE). Have a pig fiesta in the morning before you leave.
